Butt welding flange with neck refers to a flange with cone neck and butt welded with cylinder or pipeline. It is an integral flange. Due to the transition structure of cone neck and butt welding connection, the strength and stiffness of flange are strengthened, and the tightness is better than that of flat welded flange. The disadvantage is that it needs to be manufactured by forgings, which consumes a lot of materials and has a large manufacturing cost. Neck butt welding flange is suitable for occasions with high pressure, high temperature or high sealing requirements.
The steel pipe flange is a movable flange piece, which is generally matched on the water supply and drainage accessories. When the manufacturer leaves the factory, there is a flange at both ends of the expansion joint, which is directly connected with the pipeline and equipment in the project with bolts.
The purpose of using stainless steel flange is generally to save materials. Its structure is divided into two parts. One end of the pipe is connected with the pipe and the other end is made into butt welding ring. The flange plate is made of low-grade materials, while the pipe part is made of the same materials as the pipe, so as to save materials.
1. Cost savings. When the pipe material is special and expensive, the cost of welding flanges of the same material is high.
2. It is not convenient for welding or processing or requires high strength. Such as plastic pipe, FRP pipe and so on.
3. Convenient for construction. For example, it is not easy to align the corresponding flange bolt holes during connection, or prevent the flange bolt holes from changing in the future.
